This policy explains how Albert's Window Cleaning Services(“we”, “us”, “Albert”) handles your personal information when you contact us or use this website. We keep it short and plain on purpose.

Who we are

Albert's Window Cleaning Services is an owner-run window cleaning business serving Bath & North East Somerset. For any privacy question, call 07539 915375 or message us via our Facebook page. We are the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect

When you fill in the quote form we collect the details you give us: your name, postcode, phone number and/or email, the type of property, the services you’re interested in, and any message. That’s it — we don’t collect anything you don’t type in.

How we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your details for one thing: to reply to your enquiry, give you a quote, and arrange a clean. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. If you become a customer, we keep your contact details to manage your regular round.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell or share your data for marketing. Form submissions are delivered to us by our email provider (Resend) acting as a processor on our behalf. We use no advertising or analytics trackers.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don’t turn into work are deleted within 12 months. Customer details are kept for as long as you’re on our round, plus a reasonable period afterwards for our records.

Cookies

This site uses only the essential storage needed to remember your cookie choice. We don’t use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics. Because of that, nothing about you is tracked across sites.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Just get in touch and we’ll sort it. If you’re not happy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
